God walks among his people

Today, on Easter, we remember a truth more profound than myth or metaphor: that God has not abandoned us to the chaos of this world. He walks among His people—still writing, still weaving, still working through every story, even the ones we do not yet understand.

Every one of us carries a story—some joyful, some painful, many unfinished. And yet, none of these stories are isolated. They are threads in a divine tapestry, each one purposeful, each one touched by the Author Himself. Our Creator has written these stories with intention, with love, and with a vision far greater than we can see.

And here is the mystery: all these stories, all these characters, all of us—are different reflections of the same loving God. In the faces of strangers and friends, in moments of despair and hope, He is present. We look upon Him often, though we do not recognize Him. The sacred lives not only in the distant heavens but walks beside us, clothed in the ordinary. If we choose to see, we will see His face.

In an age when the stories around us can feel broken—when the narratives we once cherished seem under siege, when confusion threatens identity and fear clouds truth—we must hold fast to faith. Faith that the Author is still with us. That He sees. That He knows. That He writes.

We may not understand every chapter. Some pages will ache. Some will test us. But the one who writes does not abandon His work. And if we trust Him, if we follow the thread, we will find that the stories He writes always lead toward peace.

On this Easter, may we remember that God is not distant. He is here. He walks with us. He writes still. And through Him, our story is not over.
