About

I’m Marc. I contemplate life, and build digital products along the way.

I was fortunate to start my two professional ambitions early. At six I wanted to be an author, and by ten I was building software. Nearly 40 years later, I’m still doing both.

In 2010 I founded Prospus, later moving to India to build our core delivery center. Alongside client work, I’ve funded multiple digital products since 1998. My latest, Kaamfu, reflects my belief that the future of work demands new models.

That belief has led me to focus on what I call the Autonomous Organization—a system where work doesn’t depend on constant human supervision but flows seamlessly between people and intelligent agents. While much of today’s AI-first thinking throws algorithms into organizational chaos and calls it innovation, my approach builds autonomy from the bottom up: encoding structure, supervision, and coordination directly into software people use today so that autonomy emerges naturally from everyday work.

This philosophy is formalized in the Framework for Autonomous Organizations (RFAO), a staged model for how companies evolve through alignment, acceleration, and ultimately autonomization. Kaamfu serves as the living lab for this framework—a platform where these principles are tested, refined, and proven in practice, translating decades of thought into a working foundation for truly self-directing organizations.

Choosing Silence on Politics

I do not publicly participate in political debates. I respect those who share their views openly across the spectrum, but I am most comfortable as a spectator.

As attention turns toward me and my work, I want to be clear: I am not here to argue politics or stake out positions in the public square. I have my convictions, and when it matters, I will vote them in good conscience. But for me, my politics is private.

I ask one thing from those engaging with my work: judge me only by the quality of what I build and the passion with which I build it. That is the measure that matters most to me.

Everyone is talking, so why listen to me?

Because I’m the only one talking about how SMEs can take firm steps toward autonomization today.

I am not just offering commentary from the sidelines. With over 25 years of research, my work covers the end to end lifecycle of autonomization, from theory to implementation, market adoption, and insight.
