A note to the founders building today
Among us, the ones building right now, this is our time. History rarely resets the field, but we are standing in one of those rare windows. Most of us will fail. But for the few who succeed, the leap ahead will be unlike anything the business world has seen. Within just a few years, we can rise past the giants and establish a new order.
The incumbents are not standing still. They are fixing themselves faster than many realize. But their scale makes change a battle. They must tear out entrenched systems, unseat managers who defend legacy authority, and rewire fragile structures that resist autonomy. They will get better, but not fast enough.
Our advantage is temporary but real. We do not carry their debt. We are close to the work, so we feel the pain directly. We do not need consultants or pilots to prove the value of autonomy. We can translate it instantly into outcomes. We hold centralized authority, so we can act decisively. And we now have access to the same tools they do, without the burden of retrofitting them into massive and rigid systems.
That is why the smallest firms among us will define the autonomous future. Our clarity of action, combined with our freedom from legacy weight, gives us an edge that will not last forever. With the right commitment we can move at a speed the old guard cannot yet match.
This is our moment. Most of us will not make it, but the strongest will. And those who do will define the next business order.

Every organization is in the race to autonomy
Autonomization is not a distant future. The race is on, and the organizations preparing today will be the ones that win tomorrow.
